William Walton

Coronation Te Deum

There is a slightly over-the-top performance of this Work by the Gloucester Choral Soc on YouTube here.

Here is a "clickable" Table of the available Midi Files for this Work
(My thanks to Fraser Reich and Julie Crossman, of the Kings Lynn Festival Chorus, who lent me an original NWC File to work from).
In the UNemphasised version all the parts have separate lines, BUT ... note that, to keep the two sets of Semi-Chorus people from getting bored, in the EMPHASISED Files the parts are "doubled-up" as follows:-
In Semi-Chorus I the three Sops - 1, 2 & 3 - and the four Semi-Chorus Trebles - Decani 1 & 2 and Cantoris 1 & 2 - include the Main Chorus I Sops 1 notes, and the Semi-Chorus Altos include the Main Alto 1 notes.
And in Semi-Chorus II the Semi-Chorus Altos include the Main Alto 2 notes, and the Tenors 2A and B and Basses 2A and B include the Main Chorus II Tenor 2 and Bass 2 notes.
Because of the problems of fitting so many Voices into the available 15 Midi Channels it is possible that some of the Semi-Chorus Voice notes may not always sound quite as long as they ought to. There's nothing I can do about it, sorry!
